The Photon etc. Tunable Source was originally developed for the wavelength calibration of astronomical instruments for the visible and the NIR spectral range. Narrow bandwidth, a large tuning range, and a highly precise and accurate wavelength were successfully achieved with this instrument.

Because of this successful development, Photon etc. is now offering Tunable Sources with different spectral resolutions for wavelength calibration of photometric and radiometric instruments in the UV-VIS-NIR spectral range.

Due to the built-in flexibility of the Tunable Source, the type of source (supercontinuum  or any white sources), or the spectral resolution, and thus the optical performance, can be modified to meet our customers' needs. Moreover, the Tunable Laser Source is easily converted into a compact high-performance Monochromator .

The Photon etc. Tunable Laser Source is an ideal instrument for wavelength calibration of both laboratory and field equipment, for which portable, durable, and resistant instruments are required.
