Open near infrared fluorescence imaging

The LightIR is an open fluorescence imaging device designed for preclinical fluorescence imaging or clinical research.

The LightIR™ is a state-of-the-art in vivo fluorescence imager that delivers exceptional sensitivity and outstanding versatility by combining, within a single instrument, the ability to operate in either an open environment or a closed enclosure.

It can be used for fluorescence-guided surgery in both small and large animals, thanks to its flexible configuration featuring either an open optical head or a closed system. The instrument is available in both NIR-I and NIR-II versions.

Its high sensitivity is achieved through laser excitation, patented real-time background subtraction, and visible-light image overlay, enabling reliable performance in a wide range of lighting conditions. In its NIR-II configuration, paired with the high-end Alizé 1.7 InGaAs scientific camera, the system delivers low noise, high efficiency, and rapid image acquisition.
