Abstract

Find out more about the design, synthesis and demonstration of a novel Raman nanoprobe made of dye-sensitized single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to selectively target biomarkers of breast cancer cells. Using hyperspectral Raman imaging, S. Mal et al. from the group of Prof. R. Martel, Department of Chemistry at University of Montreal were able to perform simultaneous detection of two distinct nanoprobes that specifically recognize biomarkers on breast cancer cells without the need for additional filters or subsequent incubation steps.
